We know plans can change, and we do our best to be flexible. While all bookings are non-refundable, if you need to cancel, we’ll happily issue you a credit toward another trip.
Our Policy
- Notice required: Cancellations must be made at least 30 days before your scheduled trip.
- Credits can be used within the same season or the following season ONLY.
- Early departures are not eligible for credit.
- No-shows (without prior notice) forfeit the booking and are not eligible for credit.
- Bad Weather: Please review official marine weather advisories before your trip and let us know in advance of your plans to cancel the trip.
- In the case of serious illness or family emergency we will do our best to work with you on a solution.
This policy helps us keep things fair for everyone and ensures we can continue to offer the best experience possible for our guests.
Returning Guest Booking Priority
At Winter Harbour Marina & RV, we are fortunate to welcome many guests who return year after year. We value those long-standing relationships, while also looking forward to welcoming new guests and giving them the opportunity to become part of our returning community.
To recognize the loyalty of our established guests, returning guests are given the first opportunity to rebook the dates and space they have regularly used. Once those returning reservations have been confirmed, remaining availability is opened to new and newer guests.
New guests are always welcome. Your first stay begins your booking history with us. By returning consistently from season to season, you begin establishing your own place within our returning-guest schedule.
Booking priority is based on consistent booking history and the overall guest relationship, rather than simply the number of years you have visited. Returning regularly, booking a similar time period, responding to booking requests in a timely manner and following through on confirmed reservations, maintaining a good booking and payment history, leaving your site or accommodation clean and well cared for, and being flexible when circumstances require it all help establish your standing as a returning guest.
Being a “regular” is therefore not something that happens automatically after a certain number of years. It develops through consistency, consideration, flexibility and a positive relationship with the marina and the people around you.
Our goal is to honour the guests who have supported Winter Harbour over the years while continuing to make room for new people to discover this special place and, in time, become regulars themselves.
